Conjure Craft Chocolate is small-batch bean to bar chocolate roasted and ground in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. I was commissioned to redesign the logo into something that would translate well for digital use, packaging, and help boost their sales.

The brand requirements were to create a clean, modern art deco logo featuring an owl within the letter “c”. The brand has expanded to include label packaging design, stickers, tshirts, sweatshirts, website design, social media marketing, and subscription product packaging.

The original logo (seen on the left) was hand-drawn by the owner’s friend and later digitized by another designer. The company realized that the first two logos were still not what they needed to effectively sell their product.

Label Design

My client often uses different seasonal papers to wrap each chocolate bar depending upon the theme and chocolate flavors. Therefore it was important to have a consistent label that would provide all of the pertinent information such as flavor profiles, type of chocolate, bar name, and whether it was a limited edition item.
