Easily navigate to problem areas on your farm

Aerobotics’ mobile app, Aeroview InField, enables growers and their teams to navigate to problem areas on their farms and decide how to take action. 

We collect high resolution aerial imagery of the farm through a drone flight, and provide the customer with several layers of performance data, including the health, vigor, transpiration and canopy size of their trees and plants. This powerful data gives the grower the ability to remotely identify poor performance in their crops at scale, with incredible detail – removing the need for a team to walk down each row in every orchard on a regular basis.

The InField app closes the loop between the data delivered to the grower and the decisions that need to be made on the ground. A team member in the field can navigate through the orchard based on the performance maps, and digitally record findings or take notes on any issues that they’ve addressed. 

I worked alongside the product development team on the full product experience of Aeroview InField. In my time working with the company, we redefined the value proposition of the app from a scouting tool to this augmented navigation app. We made significant aesthetic, navigational, and functional improvements to the originally-bootstrapped app, some of which are captured in this quick shot 😊
