Prixair Buka - Flyer Collage

I Created concise content.

The content of your flyer is what your target market will read. Thus, you should make it information-rich but at the same time, easily understandable and concise. Because of the size of a standard flyer, you are limited with the amount of words you can write.

Divide your content into bullet points and subsections to make them easily digestible. Your content should answer specific questions that the reader might ask. Things like what your flyer is about, where they can reach you, when is the event happening, and what your reader should do should be immediately clear.

I Research and selected an attractive image.

The design of your flyer should work well with the content. The limitations of the flyer itself requires that your image and design have visual impact. Hire professional photographers to shoot product images if you are promoting your products. Always ensure that your images have high resolution for a crisp and clear flyer design.

I Crafted a striking CTA (call-to-action.)

By definition, the “call-to-action” is an imperative statement that instructs your reader on what they should do. It is essential that you include one when creating your flyer. Once you have enticed your recipient to read your content, it is crucial that you tell them what steps they need to take to purchase your products, use your services, or attend your events.

I Picked the right flyer size.

The most popular flyer size is 8.5” x 11” standard letter. If you are unsure which size to pick, choose this size. However, you can freely customize your flyer size depending on your design, content, and budget. You can reach more people on the same budget if you cut the size to 8.5” x 5.5”, for instance. In this design, I used 2000px by 2000px, because this is a social media design.

I Ensured that the flyer is Cross-Platform & Press-Ready.

Before I uploaded the design, I made sure that the flyers were press-ready. File dimensions matching the size of social media cross-platforms. The resolution 300 dpi or more. I took note of the bleed and trim marks. I ensured important content should be in the safety zone so that nothing will be trimmed during the posting or cutting process if the design would be printed. I didn't forget to proofread my content.

Thank You!
