As a customer on our End-to-End Creative Plan, Antler reached out to us a few months ago to help reimagine its brand and support in connecting its new positioning and messaging platform to a stand-out and exceptional visual execution

Moving forward

Based on Antler's positioning to invest in driven founders that move the world forward, our creative idea starts with Antler's recognizable "A" icon. We explored all the ways it could be used to represent that movement and the change of perspective to shape new, ground-breaking ideas of visionary founders.

Visionary people don’t color inside the lines. Our system of brand devices denote moving from one point to another, with the circle and asterisk highlighting important points and the arrow showing the journey between them.

Antler helps thousands of founders launch and scale the next generation of great companies in 25 cities across the world, so one of the most important aspects of our project was to keep simplicity and scalability in order for their local teams to be able to scale design autonomously.

Context matters—and flexibility and purpose are key when building a global brand

There’s no one specific asset or color that makes these brands what they are, but it’s a matter of long-term commitment to their purpose, a nuanced understanding of the context in which their customers will come in touch with the brand and the flexibility of that execution on a global level.

The results

In this 3-month project we managed to create a synergy between Antler’s reason to be, their new messaging and a visual identity that reflects their values perfectly - through a direction focused on real people, celebrating their uniqueness. Inspirational people who see the world in a different way.
