Astor • Theatre ticketing app • UX/UI Case Study
Astor is a mobile app focusing on creating interactivity between the fictional Astor Theater and its public. The main functionality is its effortless ticket purchasing process for live events such as plays and concerts. It also offers exclusive access to theater and concerts, films, and online events, uploaded after the live events took place, which can be viewed at any moment.
The biggest challenge was to create a virtual presence for events that took place physically, in the theater, this way trying to also increase its public over the traditional barriers. Websites and mobile apps became great tools for theaters to offer more accessibility to their content. In my case, I was lucky to find examples of already existing mobile ticketing apps and improve over their missing areas.
