A brand is a complex thing most people understand as a logo and a name. The majority of designers start making branding from these things. Is it right? The Netrix team doesn't think so.
Everything starts with a good strategy. If a brand has strong positioning based on customers' motivation and problems (and a lot of other things), then you won't have a problem with how to show it through your design and which visual technique to use.
