P0004 - Amiante

"Amiante" means asbestos in French. It's a hazardous fibrous silicate material that is usually found in an underground environment like the metro system. If you are exposed to asbestos for long periods of time, you might be at risk of suffering from lung cancer. Unfortunately, workers in metro systems around the world are the most vulnerable to such exposition. The illustration in this poster is partly the logo of the RATP (the entity in charge of the paris metro area transport system). As an absolute fanatic of the invention of the metro system, I condemn the harsh conditions into which metro workers around the world must withstand daily.
