Weighted line vector drawing of a stinkbug

My design process started by observing a preserved stickbug under a microscope. From this, I sketched this insect and brought a scanned copy of the sketch into Adobe Illustrator. Finally, I created a vector drawing using the pen tool and created a pattern to add the hairs on the legs.
