2 Dollar Pistol Poster by Amy Hood

Prince Ink asked me to be a part of a new collaboration series they're doing. I decided to bring to life a movie poster for one of my favorite George Jones songs, "Hotter Than a $2 Pistol". I drew everything in india ink using two different pages. One for the black ink, and then used tracing paper to fill in the shading I would turn orange in illustrator. Live traced everything once I scanned it in and then changed the colors and slightly rearranged the letters to be a bit straighter. Not sure about the colors still though. Thoughts?
