Sustainable Circuits - Vector Infographics

The infographics were prepared for the Sustainable Circuit agroecological fair, promoted monthly by SESC São Caetano do Sul, inviting organizations and producers committed to agroecology to take their production from the countryside to people in the city.

The purpose of the infographics was to bring to the people who goes to the fair at SESC São Caetano, to understand the local reality and the organization, production, processing and delivery/logistics process to the arrival of fresh products for urban consumers in São Caetano do Sul, in ABC Paulista.

Thus, as it was not determined on which supports and dimensions the infographics would be printed, the option was made for the final versions in vector format.

In order not to lose the characteristics of hand-drawing, I chose to do all the drawings first in pencil on paper, and then move to ink with the light table, to then be scanned and vectorized. It was a super laborious process, and more than that, challenging to handle all the complexity that involves the so important work of farmers.

The monochromatic option was to allow a clean and continuous visual reading, representing the diversity of elements, spaces and activities that integrate the same network of strengthening peasant and traditional families, promoting food security, the permanence and occupation of territories with agroecology.
