Overview

IcebreaKr is a social network that provides solutions for companies to have an internal social networks for employees. This entire network is designed and developed based on extensive market research to provide customized solutions that businesses are looking for in boosting their revenues and authority.

Challenge

The project needed customized solutions that companies are looking for engage employees to use it as was planned.

My Role

The first step, I performed user research and competitive analysis and created user flow, wireframes and prototypes in a 6-week sprint.

After conducting the user research, I planned a layout keeping information hierarchy in mind and then sketched the outline visual and details of the main features and the big presentation.

Design Process

I aimed to provide a cost-effective way for companies of all sizes to reach a virtually unlimited, targeted audience, and opportunities for them in using the such network. My aim is to help people inside big companies to meet with each others and share knowledge and experience.

I used a 5-stage Design Thinking approach: 1. Empathise, 2. Define, 3. Ideate, 4. Prototype, 5. Test.

I created User Interfaces for the social network, where people in businesses can find multiple solutions for communication on one platform.

Beside User Interfaces, I developed a design system for the network: from branding to promoting business & products.

I outlined user personas and enhanced navigation, and designed user flows to improve the performance of each network’s screen.

Throughout the app, we used patterns like questionnaires, stacked cards for matching, easy onboarding process, all these proved to be effective ways to find the right person.

I have selected the elements carefully because we have to keep them informative and aesthetic at the same time. We have used light modes, with orange color, visual interactions, and suitable inputs to optimize the user experience.
