My Earth Hour

Identity developed for the app concept, myEarthHour.

myEarthHour will allow users to log and track their progress in sustainable activities while promoting the WWF's Earth Hour.

Map icon + clock + planet.

The map icon gives the user a sense of ownership — in the way that Google Maps identifies your location for you — bringing Earth Hour to them personally and literally putting them on the map.

The hands of the clock read 8:30, when Earth Hour commences every year. The silhouette of the Earth in the face of the clock strongly infers Earth Hour, a name that most users will be very familiar with.
