Designlab UX Academy Foundations | Style tile for a fashion app
I have been uploading different assets for the Modura brand so far. In this project, I was asked to bring all of this work together into a style tile for stakeholders to be able to visualize the way the site or app may look like or as a way for design teams to ensure they’re not diving straight into UI without a plan. I learnt style tiles are an asset that shows what decisions have already been made and inform teams what styles to use throughout the product.
I began by sketching various versions of my Style Tile. Once I was satisfied with the layout, created a Figma file and added all sections I had previously worked on. I also included notes that explained my thought process and adjusted the tone to make it seem it was an official document. The tile includes the logo, icons, imagery, brand keywords, photography style and photo treatment guidelines, colour palette, typography, as well as icons and illustration style.
