Pocket Frogs App Redesign - Concept Art
I should begin by admitting that I'm the kind of person who eats dessert before dinner if nobody is looking. I believe in enjoying all of life's pleasures, and especially savoring the silly, small, and most riddiculous things. This weekend I re-downloaded the Pocket Frogs app and was wrapped up in a wonderfully warm cloud of nostalgia as chilly autumn weather finally reached The Bay Area. Now, I'm happy to announce that I'm beginning another (unsolicited) redesign project! While nobody asked for this, I've been scrolling through App Store reviews of Pocket Frogs and feel like on behalf of my generation I ought to help cultivate the comforting nostalgia found in the games we grew up with.
Check out my website (Ariane Mohabir - 'Pocket Frogs' App Redesign) to keep up with the UX research and UI approaches I've been exploring in the prototyping process for this project. And if you also like to eat dessert before dinner, there's some cheeky concept art, including the shot above, that I've been creating in Cinema4D as well.
