Barcelona Chair 3D Render

The Barcelona chair is a classic 1929 design by renowned architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. I have always admired this creation and it’s elegant form and simplicity means that even now, almost 90 years on, the design still feels new and would not look out of place in even the most modern of spaces.

A true classic of design, I wanted to create a 3D model and render of the chair so I could have my own timeless piece of furniture (albeit a virtual one!). The model was created in 3D Studio Max.
