T is for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ice cream bar, next in the 90sNibbles series! I can just hear it now, the jingle of the ice cream truck and the ensuing pavlovian response to grab a crumpled-up dollar bill and start sprinting. I remember that when the truck actually stopped, I usually needed another hour or so to stare blankly at the overwhelming selection. The poor people behind me had no idea what an important decision it was. Which character ice cream bar was I going to choose when I could only choose one. The option was only really between two characters, Michelangelo or Bugs Bunny. I don't even remember the flavors that accompanied the frozen confections. I just recall my tremendous excitement around the whole affair.

Since the late 1980s or earlier, ice cream bars themed after cartoon characters have been popular as a feature of ice cream trucks and convenience store ice cream cases. When taken out of the packaging, the melted face and creepily askew gumdrop eyeballs often tend to just slightly resemble the character.
