Imperfect Foods is an eco-friendly grocery delivery service. Their mission goes beyond just eliminating food waste and saving produce.
The company's growth in the face of the pandemic meant a bigger scope of work for their Growth Marketing department. The team was starting to focus on social media advertising with branded videos and user-generated content that required frequently producing, editing, and repurposing creative.
Imperfect Foods takes a playful and fun approach to their marketing efforts. With adorable puns and googly eyes that bring their quirky produce alive, creative assets are paramount in sending the message across. With lots to get done, they needed access to more creative capacity and partnered with Superside to support their ads and paid media strategy.
With the challenge to repurpose a lot of their brand design assets, we started to work on editing and formatting these assets, turning them into appropriate mediums such as Instagram reels or Tiktok videos.
But our motion graphics did so well that it was adapted into a television commercial. We continued our partnership by creating fun billboards and web asset templates for their site relaunch.
As our partnership with the Growth Team continued to deliver success, other departments like the Brand Team began to involve us in their projects to create more motion pieces.
