Qilin Watercolor Piece
I've been really enjoying working with traditional watercolours lately.
The only thing I miss about working digitally is how easy it is to fix your boo-boos and mistakes you make.
But...I feel like that's a HUGE crutch so many of us rely on these days: to be able to take back a mark we made because we don't like how it looked. You don't really need to plan or think about your marks because you can just ctrl + z it.
However, I feel like I'm learning and growing so much with my work because I'm unable to undo my errors. I have to really sit and contemplate how I want my piece to look. And if I make an uh-oh, I can either adapt and work with the mistake, or...restart the whole piece.
