Microsoft Stream updates
Microsoft Stream, our video service within M365, has a brand new mobile presentation in its UX and appearance across the digital landscape. This new UX + look and feel was developed entirely by our in-house design studio in India, Studio+91 (Microsoft Studio+91). The look and feel of its presentation were wholly created in Blender and rendered using Cycles, Blender's ray-trace based production render engine.
The Stream mobile app also allows you to search for videos across your organization, catch up on what you missed with Microsoft Teams meeting recordings, mark videos as favorites to easily find them later, and seamlessly share videos with your colleagues.
We're excited with this post to also formally introduce our design community in India to our community here. Studio+91 was formed almost a decade ago–together, they are a crew of over 250+ designers, design engineers, storytellers, researchers, UXers, and content writers, working across all of M365 to create delightful user experiences. In the upcoming months, stay tuned for interviews and more from our crew of designers, researchers, and 3D artists from our community in India and our other global design studios. Our international design community is critical for us to develop digital creative and practical UX that applies to our global community and we're excited for you to get to know them more!
