Discipline Equal Freedom

Discipline Equals Freedom. Would love to hear your thoughts on this quote. I'll share my personal experience below. I believe this is also a book and podcast as well, so if anyone has listened/read, please share your thoughts on Jocko Willinks book because it's on my list! But I just LOVE this quote.

I am a creature of habit, I THRIVE in a routine. In fact, i'd say I lose sight of my goals when I wonder outside of my routine. I've realized my routines create freedom to truly be creative in my life. Without them I'm simply find myself losing focus. So Discipline Equals Freedom to me. If I can be disciplined In GOOD habits, I see myself doing great work in my job, having more joy, and being a better father and husband. Anyone else feel this way?
