About the Brand

Vedanta Washery and Logistics Solutions is one of India’s leading coal washeries. They specialise in trading, liasoning, and transportation of coal in India.

The Challenge

The coal industry is not a glamorous one. The main challenge was to design an aesthetically pleasing website for a company that provided services in this niche sector.

Branding

The focus was on giving Vedanta a clean and simplistic branding with a combination of various fonts, colours, icons, and imageries that would deliver a rich and qualitative experience.

Website

We began our research by searching for competitor’s websites, however, we found that most of these were badly designed and were not up to the mark. We then created a structure of the website that portrayed all the services of the company in an easy way for the visitors. Based on this structure, we developed each section of various web pages and wrote content that simplified the description of their niche services. We compiled all of this in a beautiful WordPress website that was responsive, modern, and a great portfolio for the company.

Logo Design

For the logo, we designed the letter ‘V’ with 2 distinct shapes that resembled the shape of coal pieces. The unique colours and the shape would make it easy for anyone to recollect the logo.
