I worked as customer support for verizon in the past and the main issues people had was the website whether it was promo related or just simply questions about devices.

For any company you want ease of use, ease of onboarding, and retention. Make the onboarding easy. That's why I made a button at the nav to say switch to verizon, right next to a featured promo.
