Implse website handbook: initiating your design process
So you got your Strategy, Copy, and Visual references figured out. That’s a great foundation to start designing. Now you have to choose how to handle your design process. The two viable options are: getting a template to mess with or hiring a freelancer.
Sounds like Visual Identity is just what I need, but is it?
The short answer is no – it’s unnecessary at this point. Take it easy if you’re at an early stage with your product. You don’t need this design to work forever. After you launch your product, you will most likely face pivots. This means all hard efforts and resources you spent on Visual Identity exploration will go to waste.
Improve things by sharing it with someone else.
It can either be a group of potential users or best if you could holler someone experienced to evaluate your design. Document insights you get and apply in your next design iteration.
