Onboarding Social Media Post for Ennex Finance Dubai Banking App
Ennex App
Designed a social media post for Ennex - A fictional banking app. Took me a few hours to create this post.
The idea of welcome screens when an application is opened for the first time, is important. These screens, help them understand that the effort they have put in to download & install the application is worth something. It creates a sense of motivation that further drives them to complete further applications like sign up & validating their credentials.
An interesting point to note is the 'Get Started' button is placed across all the screens, this drives the user to not forcefully go through the onboarding screens, but can jump to the app & start-off almost immediately!
The user is continuously shown the onboarding screen they are on out of the three screens, this makes them aware of the location at which they are at any given point of time. The first principle of Heuristics known as "Visibility of system status" has been put out to action with the circular status indicator on top of the headings.
Interaction: When the user opens the application, these onboarding screens rotate in order automatically every 2 seconds on-repeat.
I had fun creating the illustrations! I was super confused on how to move forward with onboarding screens without having any illustrations. It would take hours to create a new set of illustrations. While on the go, i figured why not use Google provided icons and turn them into Illustrations by adding in a few layer blur effect, creating a sense of single point perspective, increasing the curiosity of the viewer. Adding the perspective idea makes things relate more to users since it relates to our real-world more as compared to simple illustrations.
The social media post is based on the famous Instagram reel's trend "You think money can't buy happiness? Hahaha Habibi come to Dubai". Revolving around the fun, the post does not mean to hurt anyone in the audience.
