Designing for different hand positions

To help the use know how long the card is active a timer is show that counts down from example 60 seconds. Even that i have placed the timer on the top of the screen covering most hand positions, you can still cover it.

To handle the different positions a user can hold the phone, i decided to go with a fullscreen background timer as fallback.

So no matter how you hold it, you can always see if the activation time of the mobile card is almost over.
