Poster Illustration in Photoshop (2021)

This is a submission to a monthly design challenge. The prompt was to design a travel poster for a place you'd like to visit (since we were in quarantine). I chose the planet Mars for fun. Mawrth Vallis is a real place on Mars, but I took some creative liberties as to what attractions it might have. I took inspiration from cartoons like The Jetsons, retro 1950s diners, sci-fi movie posters, and American national park posters.

Fun fact: Mars has a 24-hour day cycle–the same as Earth.
