Website Design for Political Campaign

On occasion, I do freelance work for a media strategy organization in Birmingham, AL that helps to elect progressive candidates in local elections. One of the recent projects was to create a visual identity for multiple forms of online and printed media. This project not only included a complete website design, but building online submission forms, logo design, flyers, postcards, and yard signs.

This campaign was for Paul Rand, a public defender in Birmingham running for circuit court judge. I supported his mission to create a fair and compassionate judicial system and wanted his branding to portray a sense of calm, trust, and modesty. I used the cool dark blue and green colors and flat shapes to stand out amongst common political branding style.
