Charley Bistro
Developing Charley’s identity was one of the most complex and rewarding projects I’ve worked on. Charley aims to combine a casual cafe with a classic Viennese Bistro. To blend the disparate tones, I created a visual identity inspired by magazines. That inspiration can be seen everywhere, from the masthead-like treatments of the logo to the large photography referencing cover, and lastly, to the font choice influenced by the cadence of an interview. The brand identity can be seen in all of the work below, including a variety of menus, illustrations, To-Go bags, and In-house items such as coasters and T-shirts.
