2020 Female Olympians Illustration

This series of illustrations was inspired by exceptional female athletes competing at the 2020 Summer Olympics who not only represented strong women in their sport, but broke national and world records. Illustrations created for @RippkeDesign

The athletes represented include:

Hidilyn Diaz representing the Philippines for the 55kg powerlifting event, and bringing home the first gold medal for her country!

13-year-old, Sky Brown representing Great Britian for skateboarding as the youngest skateboarder in the Olympics as well as Great Britian‘s youngest Olympic medalist ever!

Jennifer Abel and Mélissa Citrini-Beaulieu representing Canada in synchronized diving, taking home the silver gold medal for their country. 

Carissa Moore representing the USA in surfing and winning the first-ever women’s Olympic surfing gold medal.
