Mood board

Created this recently to help guide a discussion about visual design with a client. There are both good and bad examples of design throughout. Some are examples they pointed me to, others are from my own library of screenshots (Littlesnapper <3).

Talking points involved: typography, color palettes, layouts, photography choices, and general design principles. The discussion went well, and we're in the midst of coming up with the visual design right now.

The goal is to figure out where the boundaries are. If they react poorly to some design, and positively to another, you got your design direction right there.

This builds rapport, and sets the expectation that their tastes will be accounted for. It's not about what I think is good design, but what they think is good design (and hopefully their customers will think the same.)
