Virginia (vs. Old Dominion)Saturday, Sept. 17 at 2 p.m. ET on ACC Network; live stream on fuboTV (Start your free trial)

Can the Monarchs make it two upsets in three weeks over their in-state big brothers from the ACC? Old Dominion took a loss last week against a tough East Carolina team that nearly upset NC State. Now the Monarchs will regroup and head up Interstate 64 to Charlotteville to face a Virginia team that has been less than impressive so far this season. The Cavaliers beat FCS Richmond in a game that was a bit closer than most fans would have liked and followed that up with an embarrassing 24-3 loss at Illinois. Look for Old Dominion head coach Ricky Rahne to throw everything his team has at a Virginia team still licking its wounds from last weekend.

No. 19 Wake Forest (vs. Liberty)

Saturday, Sept. 17 at 5 p.m. ET on ACC Network; live stream on fuboTV (Start your free trial)Something doesn’t smell right about an unbeaten and ranked Power 5 team only being favored by a little more than two touchdowns against an FBS Independent on the cusp of joining the Group of 5. It’s tough to tell how good this Wake Forest team is, as the Demon Deacons come into the game with wins over FCS VMI and Vanderbilt. Liberty also is undefeated, and this is a program that has risen as fast as any in the country in terms of moving to FBS, competing and winning bowl games. The Flames have former Tennessee commit Kaidon Salter under center, and he’s starting to look like one of the best-dual threat quarterbacks in the country. Liberty has two gritty wins under its belt over soon-to-be Conference USA foes Southern Miss and UAB, and head coach Hugh Freeze will be playing with house money on the road against Wake Forest, hoping to log yet another program-boosting win.

Houston (vs. Kansas)Saturday, Sept. 17 at 4 p.m. ET on ESPNU, live stream on fuboTV (Start your free trial)Houston just lost an overtime heartbreaker to Texas Tech after starting the year dreaming of ending the season in the College Football Playoff. Those dreams are now dashed, and the Cougars will need to regroup against an undefeated Kansas team (that’s not a typo!) that has scored 111 points in its first two games – including 55 in last Saturday’s victory over West Virginia. It looks like head coach Lance Leipold has changed the culture in Lawrence fairly quickly, and his team now expects to be competitive in these types of games. A win could vault Kansas into the Top 25 for the first time since 2009.

No. 20 Ole Miss (at Georgia Tech)Saturday, Sept. 17 at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC; live stream on fuboTV (Start your free trial)The Rebels had a bit of a slap fight with Troy to kick off their season, and then they essentially had a bye week by way of a matchup with FCS Central Arkansas. Now Ole Miss travels to Atlanta to take on a Georgia Tech team that had Clemson looking for the door in the season opener. We’ll find out in a hurry whether or not Lane Kiffin’s Rebels are going to be serious contenders in the always-competitive SEC West.

No. 6 Oklahoma (at Nebraska)Saturday, Sept. 17 at 12 p.m. ET on FOX; live stream on fuboTV (Start your free trial)The Cornhuskers were the “upset watch” victim last week, but it’s a new day in Lincoln. Scott Frost was fired the next day, and receivers coach Mickey Joseph – a former Husker and one of the best recruiters in the country – was named interim head coach. Joseph promised to make some tweaks to the way Nebraska has been operating. Will those tweaks by the difference that pushes Nebraska over the top in terms of winning the one-score games that were losses in recent years? We’ll find out Saturday when the Sooners are greeted by a hopeful and reenergized Sea of Red looking to celebrate like it’s 1995.Clear your schedule and find your favorite spot on the couch this weekend because we’ve got another packed slate of college football in Week 3. Check out where and when you can watch all of the action unfold this weekend. All kickoff times listed below are in Central Time (CT)Florida State at LouisvilleFriday, Sept. 16, 6:30 p.m., ESPN [Live Stream: fuboTV (Start your free trial)]Another week, another odd scheduling block for Louisville football. After playing last Friday night, the Cards play their first home game this Friday against Florida State. Louisville stifled the UCF passing attack with strong man coverage en route to an ugly 20-14 win.Florida State’s Jordan Travis averaged seven yards per attempt fewer in 2021 versus man than zone coverage. However, does Louisville’s talented but struggling offense pose a threat to Florida State’s defense? Oddsmakers don’t think so as they favor the ‘Noles by a field goal on the road.#6 Oklahoma at NebraskaSaturday, Sept. 17, 11:00 a.m., FOX [Live Stream: fuboTV (Start your free trial)]This game was wild a year ago in Norman. The second of a home-and-home revival of an old Big 12 rivalry promises to be the biggest game in this window. However, it’s new faces all the way around, with both teams starting a different QB and headed by a different coach.Mickey Joseph steps in as interim for a recently-fired Scott Frost. Brent Venables now heads Oklahoma. Regardless of who’s in the uniforms or on the sidelines, this should be another entertaining game full of disdain.Purdue at SyracuseSaturday, Sept. 17, 11:00 a.m., ESPN2 [Live Stream: fuboTV (Start your free trial)]If you like weird football, this is the game for you. Played in the VMA Wireless Dome, Purdue comes into one of the strangest venues in the country. No one knows what to make of this game between two teams that might be good, as betting lines flip-flopped all week long, eventually settling on a pick ’em (or a toss-up).Syracuse plays a physical style of football that Purdue struggled with in their game against Penn State in Week 1. In fact, the Boilermakers may be well-prepared for this game given the offensive similarities between Syracuse and Penn State. Either way, expect this one to have all sorts of weird in it.#22 Penn State at AuburnSaturday, Sept. 17, 2:30 p.m., CBS [Live Stream: fuboTV (Start your free trial)]Another follow up to a home-and-home series, this game was one of the best environments of the season in 2021. Penn State hits the road this time to play in daunting Jordan-Hare Stadium in front of what should be another passionate (albeit, less friendly to Penn State) crowd.Auburn is dealing with an identity crisis at QB– they listed their top two options, TJ Finley and Robby Ashford, with an OR on the depth chart. Who gets the nod? Do both play? Will Finley emerge on the other side of this game still the starter?
