Earth Sounds Collective
Earth Sounds Collective is a (fictional) new wave environmental production group seeking to create a fostering atmosphere where artists can curate work about the environment. There are few artistic platforms for musicians to express their reactions to our biosphere. Our channel hopes to represent a vast array of perspectives and artists, readily disseminating environmental information, through art, to the public. Founded by six UCLA students, Earth Sounds Collective's roots are deep in Los Angeles tangled environmental history. From discussions about the LA River to broader themes of climate change and pollution, Earth Sounds Collective is the premier musical activist group in the Los Angeles region.
As the lead designer of the project, I was inspired by WPA National Parks paintings and decided to build the brand around the return of retro design trends.
In addition to designing all of the deliverables, I acted as the liaison between the our main stakeholder and the rest of the group, handled scheduling and deadlines, played flute and provided backing vocals in our original song "The Raindrop's Journey."
