Bear at the Surf Break

A business owning bear waits for the perfect wave, while basking in the security of having a reliable web developer to look after their website updates.

This image is part of a series of digital illustrations created in collaboration with Alek Mackie. I started by designing the bears for each image and providing some creative direction for the scenes. Alek then brought these ideas to life, rendering West Coast inspired landscapes that balanced realistic perspective and lighting with the surrealism and nuance of an imaginary world. These illustrations were part of a personal branding project and are featured on the branding and website overview pages of my website lucasbell.ca
