Until early 2021, Meesho was primarily a social commerce platform. Customers used to buy products through resellers, not the app.

But as we grew, customers wanted to shop directly from Meesho. The experience, however, wasn’t as smooth. It was all designed for the “reseller” business model.

As a result, ~40% customers dropped off at cart screen!

We saw the opportunity! And currently, our app clocks in an average of more than 2.4 million orders every day.
