To better aid users in generating floorpans, we introduced illustrations that would be seen adjacent to measurement fields. The user swipes to the appropriate room type (not all are depicted here) and proceed to input measurements. This certainly isn't perfect, but offers a simplistic approach that's easy to recognize and understand for structural estimate and construction type users.
