The Complete Restaurant Management System

Designing a restaurant management system to boost daily restaurant operations from ordering to marketing, from inventory to kitchen production managed by one system in real time with with help of AI. Main goal was to define a ecosystem for covering all operational needs whether they are front of house, back of house or ‘out of house’.

Problem

Operators are forced to use multiple fragmented/disconnected software to run their restaurants. These solutions are costly and non-intuitive and still do not meet all the demands of day-to-day restaurant management.

They are not providing the benefits and insights of innovation that can drastically streamline operations, improve the guest experience and maximize revenue.

Process

To classify the target audience and understand their motivation better 4 personas were created. Their characteristics and the main insights I got are based on the survey results. After defining the audience we create a User Flow Map for each key module of the application down to the smallest detail and simple workflows which later were filled with wireframes and pixel-perfect mockups.

Result

Having conducted research and analysis of competitors we created a full-fledged application for automation and management for the restaurant industry. We have created an actual system for the work of waiters, tracking order control, and hall service. The administrator can manage the delivery and schedule of employees.
