Finance Forecasting 🐳🐳🐳

👩🏼‍💻Hey everyone!

Super excited about sharing a sneak peek of part 2 of Triple Whale's Finance Hub -- the long awaited forecasting tool.

The forecasting page works by taking actual historical data (generated by the Triple Pixel) and uses formulas to project future values. The forecast is made up of models, and models are made of groups of rows. With the valuable and consistent input of user feedback and user testing we were able to pinpoint specific needs of the product, namely the ability to:

• edit the formula for any row within the model

• edit any individual projected value

• save any combination of edits as a scenario, and easily switch between scenarios

• see actuals alongside forecasts to help users evaluate the accuracy of their forecasts

• pin any cell values to the pinned section of the user’s Triple Whale summary page

• gain clarity into inventory management

• and, most importantly, consolidate financial/accounting/inventory/marketing data all in one place!

I'm grateful for having been able to work on this project from the very initial brainstorming sessions to working prototypes and am thrilled to see where this products takes Triple Whale! Hope you all enjoy 😊
