Artificial Indolence

Lately im seeing a lot of AI generated artworks everywhere and I have mixed feelings about it. Part of me is excited to see what this new technology can bring to the art world and help us artists improve our work and workflow. But the other part of me really thinks this is just a lazy way of making art. Nothing automatic and that promises you great results will ever be good. I think AI is to art what Live Trace is to vector art. And also people asking "Will AI replace artists in the future?" No, I do not think this will ever happen. There will be always real artists with a heart and a brain creating real art.
