VAVOOM Ecommerce Redesign
VAVOOM is a furniture store with a twist.
Sourcing products from over 100 suppliers in Australia, they look for items that are a bit different or quirky alongside more classic pieces.
Approaching its 10th birthday, VAVOOM felt its brand recognition was relatively low and wanted a website design that reflected their left of centre nature while not getting in the way of customers making a purchase.
This project focused on producing a digital style guide (not shown) and key transaction page designs that reflected the brand’s identity and solved many usability issues that were creating a barrier to efficient product discovery and purchase.
Due to budget constraints, designs were only provided for desktop screen size. The client felt that the style guide plus guidance for mobile screens would be sufficient. After the designs were handed over, the company's ownership changed and the project ended with the previous owner.
