I am here to share my recent illustration design.
This is just the beginning, next I will create a series of illustrations to hang on the wall as decoration. It may have been hung on the wall in the form of oil paintings or Chinese paintings in the past. But now more and more illustrations appear on all kinds of walls, such as home, office, workshop, restaurant, cafe, etc.
Bombycilla garrulus
Bombycilla garrulus is a bird of the family Ornithidae. The body length is 18 cm, the wingspan is 34-35 cm, the weight is 40-64 grams, and the life span is 13 years. It is a small songbird, the whole body is basically grape taupe, the head color is dark chestnut brown, and there is a slender and clustered feather crest on the top of the head. The chestnut-brown head is very striking. Chin and throat black. Wings with white wing spots, secondary flight feathers with red droplets at the end of the feathers. Tail with black sub-terminal spots and yellow terminal spots.
Habitat in coniferous forests, mixed coniferous and broad-leaved forests and birch forests. In addition to the breeding season in pairs, other times it is more active in groups, and sometimes even in large groups of nearly a hundred. It mainly feeds on plant foods such as pine, birch, rose, honeysuckle, Wei Mao, buckthorn and other plant fruits, seeds and buds. With a graceful body and soft sound, it is an ornamental bird in winter gardens.
It is found in northern Europe, northern and central and eastern Asia, western Canada, and the northwestern United States.
