It was nice to start a piece away from the computer. I began by making actual inkblots as seen here http://bit.ly/1DlJjTL and the actual one I selected see in the attachments.

First I used a silver white crayon to write "crazy". Next I added the ink droplets and folded the paper. The crayon kept the ink from bleeding into the paper. Next up was to scan in the artwork and then crank the levels. Next I selected channels and added a cyan to magenta gradient. Finally I added the photo of the crowd of people by masking it inside the channel selection of the inkblot and by choosing the right blend mode for the effect.
