The Archdiocese of Russian Orthodox Churches in Western Europe
Visual Identity Project for The Archdiocese of Russian Orthodox Churches in Western Europe.
The Archdiocese of Russian Orthodox churches in Western Europe was founded in 1921.
Today it is a multinational diocese, comprising around 120 parishes and monastic communities mainly in France, but also Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the UK.
The responsive logo features the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Paris, and the color palette is inspired by Slavic culture.
It’s paired with a Cyrillic font that mimics Orthodox calligraphy, and traditional manuscript ornaments.
