Problem statement

The modern online entrepenuer needs an email client that is fast, efficient and a little less formal. In the past 6 years more and more teams are moving away from email and towards team communications platforms like slack and discord. Many freelancers are also making the move, but it’s hard to constantly invite new people to a slack channel for a limited engagment.

Design process

I started research base on problem statement and continue with design process with 5 steps: Empathise, Define, Ideate, Prototype & Test, Refine & Deliver.

User persona

I wanted a quick and simple onboarding experience, I want to get them on board first and build their profile.

Wireframe

After collecting all the flows and functionalities I went into wireframing and build visual design from there.

From here, I moved to visual design.

Final output

As a result, Lucid email provides a simple way to email and chat with clients and co-workers. Freelancer can now create fast response and use them to send their pricing rates, invoices and so much more.
