Payment Card Concept

The design of the payment card is inspired by the traditional Japanese woodworking technique of "Kumiko Zaiku". It is a woodworking technique in which wood is assembled into geometric patterns without the use of nails. It is a delicate technique in which thinly ground and split wood is grooved, drilled, and holed, and then assembled one by one using a planer, saw, chisel, or other tool to make adjustments. The geometric patterns are expressed by fitting small wooden parts called "leaves" into the latticework in various shapes.
