Demanding Landing: DnD Crypto Landing Page Redesign
I redesigned my first crypto related website and indulged somewhat in gaming related assets. DungeonSwaps current website is in dire need of a revamp, so I took their landing page, trying to iterate on common mishaps crypto websites present nowadays
DungeonSwap 's existing site throws the visitor into the game without any onboarding. The user has to fend for themselves, with layers upon layers of info that are not explained. I tried to separate landing page and game interface. To catch eyes before they get confused.
A direct overview/grid of whats available replaces the current sidebar-navigation. Simple, custom background illustrations/icons profit from a specific color scheme. A practical gateway to the main App/Interface without a lot of scrollwork.
The current monster/enemy designs are pretty much all over the place. I tried to find a specific style that can help the brand and game stay consistent. I stumbled somewhat into the PSX era, since I'm a retro fan. But I'm sure a lot of Dungeons & Dragons fans grew up with PC and PS1 era dungeon crawlers.
PS1 era weapons are not a necessity obviously, but I thought it definitely looks and fits better than their current approach.
