Weltevree Sundial Table

Weltevree is a Dutch design brand manufacturing contemporary durable goods with the aim to activate the people and surroundings. True to their motto “Activating people and places”. The Sundial Table is a unique combination between a functional object, namely a table, and a sundial. With the Sundial Table you enjoy the luxury to not live by the time, but more in the moment. True to your natural rhythm: the rhythm of the sun.  

In continuation of the ongoing creative works with Weltevree, the new brief was to capture the recognisable moments in a day to tell the “difficult” story of the Sundial table and it’s dual usage to the consumer in a clear way through a 30 secs animation video and follow it with downedits of 15 secs, 10 secs. Set 6 different backgrounds illustrated in the same location with the lighting and props changes from Sunrise to Sunset mood setting to tell the story of the dial function with a perfect balance between the frames and the subtle but cleverly done animation to support it. 

It was great collaborating with the client’s team - Bülent Yokus, Didier Velemaz to understand the challenges and translate it into captivating illustrations and animation.
