PL Digital Branding Update
Back in late 2021, I worked for several months reimagining what a "Digital Branding" refresh could look like for the Protolabs website. The goal was to take our updated branding and compliment the 'dark mode' look of Hubs; a recent company acquisition, and meld the two together into something novel. As the leader in global digital manufacturing we wanted to create something that would stand out from the competition while paving the future of the industry. This is the chosen direction.
The work on the website, from concept to go-live was about 7 months in total and involved me working closely with our content, creative, and development teams to ensure a successful launch. Check out the finished product at protolabs.com
Please take a few moments to scroll through the case study below for this project to get a feel for the elements featured on the home page. The work done here had larger ripple effects on other aspects of the website, and branded materials for 2022. The "Digital Branding" homepage campaign look/feel also emerged in our email, digital events/trade shows, social media efforts, videos, infographics, illustrations and other collateral in the same time frame.
