About the project

Al-Futtaim Automotive is home of a big portfolio of automotive brands, founded under the umbrella of “Al Futtaim” – the biggest retail group in the Middle East. I've worked on multiple exciting projects and more recently briefed on their unique challenge of UX/UI design.

Client needs

Al-Futtaim Automotive was looking for an easier way to empower their teams to better understand the customer experience and give them an edge on the competition.

Main challenge was to keep up with the technical aspects of the Tableau platform and provide new UX/UI solutions for custom dashboards interfaces.

The brief

Create a more personalized web app, with a focus on helping predict customer behavior and maximize customer understanding through the use of historic data.

Making something out of nothing

The visual language is systematic and structured, yet human. Take the journey of scrolling through the amazing visuals that I designed for the new web app.

Landing page

The landing page delivers the product's core message with five sectors of information and has a login box to access the app.

Colors: Paired with a comprehensive but balanced color palette the typeface would form the groundwork for the new website.

Iconography: To convey the correct mood of the site and make it closer to our audience, I designed a custom icon library for the collapsed state of the navigation panel as well as for specific actions users can take within data tables.

Typography: Geometric, grotesque, sans-serif typefaces to fit in with the style direction.

Results

As the senior UX/UI designer, I worked closely with client leadership team, head of product and engineers to concept, design and launch the final product.

Starting from scratch to reshaping of the app, a spectacular product was put together. Since launching the app, we've seen 193% Increase in revenue from organic traffic.
