Instagram - UI Challenge

"How might we tweak Instagram's UI to highlight the user's experiences and interests in a seamless manner?"

We all find ourselves browsing through social media and other platforms almost every day, where we share our daily activities and highlight life events we want to share with our social groups. Instagram is an app we use to share photos and express our support to the people we follow. As a daily user of the app, I find the features and the experience seamless, but the app often feels cluttered and less personalized. After rethinking the interface, I found some ways to make the app user experience less cluttered. I redesigned the UI with a simple layout highlighting the post with the photo itself in a way that the experience the user wants to share with the social group becomes the highlight in the feed. In the design, emphasising the photo/video will make the app feel more customized and personalized to the user, while still maintaining Instagram's brand guidelines and visual identity.
