Block

One thing I have always despised, is navigating through multiple nested folders. The amount of clicking is absurd. Blocks is a solution to this problem. Users could expand folders or collections into blocks, which visually display the entire hierarchy of the folder or collection. For example in this shot, notice there is a folder called pictures, on the computer, with two nested folders: light and dark. Rather than clicking on "pictures", then clicking on "light" the user can simply click "light".

Although in this situation pressing with two fingers to click on a menu to expand a collection into a block, takes just as long as the traditional method, the ease of Blocks arises when there are multiple layers with multiple nested folders. Blocks will scroll in all directions to show nested folders.
